Built in honour of St. Vitus (one of the 14 auxiliary saints) between 1772 - 1779, at a time when a major flood had swept away all but the church tower.
One of the most beautiful Baroque structures in Austria with an octagonal design and a mighty dome, ceiling frescoes and altar panels by Franz Anton Zeiller from Reutte.
The figures were carved by "Nissl" from Fügen. Very atmospheric cemetery with cast-iron crosses and two outstandingly made tombstones with family coats of arms.
