Awaiting you away from the slopes in the snow-covered Zillertal is a winter wonderland with adventurous activities. For example, the Arena Coaster offers hot alpine coaster fun even during the cold of winter.

Tobogganing

Experience pure enjoyment with a fun toboggan ride with family and friends. You have the opportunity to hike up through idyllic forests with your sled or let the lift comfortably take you up the mountain. Awaiting you in the Zillertal are 14 of the best prepared toboggan runs with a total length of 45 km.

With 7 km, the longest toboggan run on the Gerlosstein is located only a few minutes by car from Campingdorf Hofer. The Gerlosstein lift will quickly and conveniently take you to the start of the toboggan run at an elevation of 1,650 m. The run is floodlit until 1 am and guarantees a clear view even after sunset. Nothing stands in the way of pure fun!

Ice skating

Only a few minutes from Campingdorf Hofer, a festive atmosphere prevails at the artificial ice skating rink in the recreational park in Zell from December to March. Here, magical memories from childhood will be brought back to life as young and old joyfully glide over the frozen surface. Want even more winter action? Thanks to floodlighting, you can bring your eventful day to end with ice disco.

Cross-country skiing

Did you know that you use almost all muscles groups in the body with cross-country skiing? Whether the classic or skating style - as you leisurely glide along prepared trails through the glorious winter landscape with cross-country skis, you can free your mind and do something good for your health at the same time.  

A fantastic network of 6 cross-country trails with a total length of 16 km is located directly near us. If you are in the mood for sporty activity after the sun sets, we recommend the Bäckenfeld trail, which is floodlit until 9:00 pm – only a few minutes from Campingdorf Hofer.

The higher trails in Gerlos, Ginzling, and in the Tuxertal guarantee pure cross-country skiing enjoyment even if Jack Frost is not cooperating with snow in the valley.
